Houjun ("we") handles user information in the Mind Craft Fish app and its parent web dashboard (together, the "Service") under this policy.
1. Core principles
- We do not collect data for advertising or behavioural tracking and do not use third-party tracking SDKs.
- We do not ask for information that identifies a child.
- Without an account, game progress stays only on the device.
2. Using the app without an account
Game progress and settings are stored only on the device and are not sent to our server. An internet connection is not required to use the app.
3. Information handled with a parent account

| Learning-report activity | Missions completed, focus minutes, where and when a session ended. Questions, answers and inferred emotions are not stored. |
| Parent settings | Used to apply game, difficulty, mission, screen-time and reward settings in the app. |
| Nickname (optional) | A name entered by the parent. It does not need to be a real name. |
4. Purposes of use
Information is used only for authentication, cloud save and restore, learning reports, parent-setting sync, abuse prevention and support. It is not used for advertising, data sales or emotional evaluation.
5. Sharing and processors
Except where required by law, we do not sell or provide user information to third parties. Supabase is used for authentication and data storage. No information is provided to advertisers or data brokers.
6. Security
- Connections are encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
- Cloud data is separated per account by row-level security (RLS).
- The web dashboard signs out after 20 minutes of inactivity and asks for confirmation before sensitive actions.
- A failed sync never deletes local progress, and monotonic counters help prevent older data from overwriting newer progress.
7. Retention and deletion
After account deletion, the authentication account, cloud saves, settings, nickname and learning-report records are permanently deleted. At deletion, you can choose whether offline progress on the device is kept or removed too.
8. Parent rights
Parents may export, correct or delete their data, or ask us to stop using it. Use the web dashboard or contact support.
9. Children's privacy
Account registration and the dashboard are for parents. We do not provide a mechanism to collect personal information directly from children. If such information is sent unintentionally, we will delete it promptly.
10. Cookies and browser storage
The app does not use cookies. The web dashboard uses only the minimum technical information needed for sign-in and language preferences, and does not use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking.
11. Changes to this policy
Changes will be posted on this page. Important changes, such as handling additional information, will be explained in advance in the app or by email.
