Your pictures stay on your Mac

The Image MLX Lab software

No account, no telemetry. Image MLX Lab does not collect usage data, crash reports or analytics, and has nowhere to send them.
Nothing is uploaded. Images you load, your selections, prompts, generated and edited images are stored in the results folder of your copy and never leave the Mac unless you move them. The model runs locally through MLX.
What is recorded locally: for each run, the time it took, memory and swap use, the image size and settings, and the beginning of the prompt are written to results/performance/. It stays on your Mac; delete it whenever you like.
What does use the network: setup downloads the model and the optional editing module from Hugging Face, the mlx-serve runtime and its build tools from GitHub, and Python packages. After setup, generating and editing need no internet connection.
Not on your network. The workbench and the model server listen on this Mac only (127.0.0.1). Other devices on your Wi-Fi cannot reach them, and other websites cannot use them through your browser.
Your browser keeps only your choice of interface language, locally.

It is a set of static pages: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no forms and no third-party scripts or fonts.
Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and operation, under its own policy.
If you write to us, we use your email only to answer you.
