Support
Write to support@houjun.dev with the subject “QuietRepo”. Please say which app you use (ChatGPT or Claude, desktop, web or phone) and what you saw. Never send passwords or tokens.
Connecting
- “Choose a repository first”: install the QuietRepo GitHub App on one private repository, then connect again from the AI app.
- Several repositories: QuietRepo asks you to pick one when you sign in. To use a different one later, disconnect and connect again.
- Public repository: QuietRepo only uses private repositories, to keep your notes private.
- New tools do not appear: refresh or reconnect QuietRepo in the AI app's connector or plugin settings.
Using it
- Save: “Save this discussion to QuietRepo”, or “show me a QuietRepo card for this document”.
- Find: “What did we decide about X? Check QuietRepo.”
- Edit or delete: ask the AI to rename, update or delete a specific note. An edit is refused if the note changed since the AI read it; ask it to read the note again.
- Standing instruction: in a project or custom instructions, write “Save every finished document to QuietRepo with a card.”
Disconnecting
Remove QuietRepo in the AI app, and/or uninstall the GitHub App in GitHub → Settings → Applications. Your notes stay in your repository.
